Bookcases,Nepi

Modular bookcase completely handmade in solid walnut, constituted by two simple modules assembled without the use of screws or mechanical joinery that allow you to create a theoretically infinite bookcase. The arch structure refers to the typical engineering feat of Roman aqueducts. In this case, both the name and the project make direct reference to Nepi, a place in upper Lazio — whose Etruscan name means “water” — and where a majestic example of the aqueduct system stands. The craftsmanship and the idea of a modular project, typical of an industrial production, makes possible an unprecedented quality as well as countless construction/compositional possibilities.
