Memories hark back to Italian kitchens of yesteryear, where pots and pans hang on the walls, as to show off the culinary skills of the hostess.
A small, upholstered piece of furniture conceived as a tribute to the city of Milan, its shape and texture recall the concrete bollards prevalent throughout the city that look like a “panettone”, a traditional holiday cake. The allusion is ironically applied to the notion of comfort: a notoriously hard, uncomfortable object becomes soft and inviting, therefore, attractive.
