CNC

CNC was inspired by designer Piero Lissoni’s visit to our Tuscan headquarters where he saw the Computer Numerical Control system at work and was fascinated by the way a precise pattern could be created by experimenting with machine settings: Random horizontal layout, Uniform horizontal layout, Uniform horizontal layout, Uniform vertical layout. The small chips and irregularities along the ridges are a design feature of this texture.
