In 2015, OIKOS celebrated its 25th anniversary. Oikos Venezia designs, manufactures and tests custom-made armored doors with high quality standards at its Gruaro headquarters, 50km from Venice. All production is certified and the work phases are carried out in the company, entirely made in Italy and with a refined design.
The objective of Oikos is to provide solutions to architects and interior designers through technical and aesthetic proposals. The company is present in all the main European countries and in the markets in Asia, Africa and America.
Being establisched a few kilometers from Venice can not fail to leave its mark. Oikos Venice has its roots in this territory to which it remains linked, as the name itself recalls. Culture, history and tradition influence its way of working.
A timeless link that inspires each and every proposal and initiative of the company, starting from the logo itself: the six districts of Venice, symbolized by the iron bow of the Venetian gondola, share their secular culture of design and innovation with the six product lines by Oikos. Over the years the relationship has also translated into an important cooperation with the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice with the aim of continuously improving the corporate performance, applying academic research to the operational reality.
Founded in 1990, OIKOS Venezia srl, the following year participates in the SAIE 2 (today MADE Expo), subsequently obtains the anti-burglary certification class 3 and 4. In 1997 it creates the new production site in Gruaro (VE). In the following years he obtained ISO certifications. From 2005 to 2012 are created the products that we find again today in the company. In 2013 the production plant was extended; participates as a company in the year following the event at the arsenal of Venice in the presence of architects and other producers of the system. In 2015 a new company headquarters was opened in Dubai.
