MISSONIHOME: DECORATING WITH THE DISTINCTIVE MISSONI STYLE
"The house is living; it is always in motion, it is never finished", this is the philosophy of Rosita Missoni, art director of the MissoniHome project since 1997.
MissoniHome proposes furnishing elements such as chairs, tables, lamps and garden furniture dominated by a variegated mosaic of fabrics in the unmistakable Missoni style.
Furnishings with flexible and modular shapes make it possible to enjoy indoor spaces and be used outdoors. A style with a consistent personality that is also renewed with the surprising interchange of accessories and details that are always different.
According to Rosita Missoni, the home is synonymous with a festive welcome and pleasant atmospheres. Furnishing means creating an organized but informal habitat that excites and intrigues, where every space is an oasis of colours and moods. And of formulas free from schemes.
THE ALL-ITALIAN DESIGN OF FABRICS IN THE WORLD
MissoniHome has always represented the excellence of Made in Italy design and fashion in the world. The factory in Golasecca (Varese) is the starting point of manufacturing and distributing the historic family-owned company and leader in textiles and furniture (MHome srl).
MissoniHome's furnishings have an international distribution: the collections can be found in exclusive design showcases and department stores in major capitals and Missoni boutiques.
The presence of the brand at the most important design and architecture exhibitions throughout the world attracts architects, designers and professionals, with creative installations.
FROM FABRIC TO FURNISHING: ROSITA MISSONI'S FURNITURE PROJECT
Fabric is the starting point and guiding theme of a home furnishing project consisting of a wide range of elements. The fabric's underlying theme and its thousands of material profiles bind the attractive suggestions for indoor and outdoor furnishing, from living rooms to large lounges, from relaxation areas including beds and bathrooms to spaces facing out onto gardens and terraces.
The collection designed by Rosita Missoni, where a sense of colour intertwines with manufacturing skill, stands out for its cheerful character and creative spirit. The inspiration and emotions of fashion are transferred into her idea of "home" design.
The language of the collections but also every single piece is distinctive, and the project is built on free interactions between shapes and colours: a long creative journey that coexists with experimentation, almost an escape from the obvious towards an innovative and personal style, with an aesthetic balance that goes beyond the ordinary.
