The Playful Living, with 'A Casa Ovunque', at the Milan Design Week, 7-12 June 2022, in Zona Tortona, Via Savona 35.

A Casa Ovunque is a popular and experiential event, a physical and digital event, as it is necessary and correct to do today. Still, above all, it is a concept and a design value, a sort of mini-manifesto of simple hospitality and the well-being that spontaneously derives from it.

Nowadays, a 'normal' but extraordinary principle is to be declined in contemporary spaces that are increasingly hybrid, rich in stimuli and sources of transversal relations to disseminate the idea of a 'pop' design within reach of many.

The Playful Living, with the event entitled A Casa Ovunque (At Home Everywhere), dedicates this edition to everyday living designed with 'verisimilar' people in mind, with verisimilar profiles, who have created six different spaces that are the offspring of their activities and personalities.

At Home Everywhere: at Home, we are generally well at home and generally like to be well at home. Everywhere, because our lives are continually declining in different places, for various reasons and at different times, it is no coincidence that we increasingly speak of hybrid places.

Together with our partner friends at Sfera MediaGroup - RCS MediaGroup's Childhood division - with the magazine Style Piccoli, we have selected a series of products and services that have a contemporary approach to human quality. These include furniture, perfumes, games, and meeting textiles. It focuses on intriguing objects and materials, observing new projects and solutions amidst perceptions and reflections that lead us to rethink possible lives.

The characters we have created are some of the many 'us' we meet daily, different from each other but animated by the value of design, i.e. the method and culture of innovation that transforms visions into feasible projects, concepts, and ways of living and having relationships.

Temporary Home Soon Temporary Home Soon

Here, feasibility, a word, a principle that stems from the idea that 'it can be done', it can be improved without seeking temporary and illusory wow effects, far from the false myth of luxury and attentive to the concreteness of designing with broad visions and practical spirit: that's design.

Here is a roundup of the profiles we have drawn inspiration from in furnishing our six spaces down to the last detail, all of which can be visited and observed at leisure to take home positive and helpful stimuli for every day furnishing choices. Gloria and Riccardo, she is an architect with a dream to turn her family home into a Temporary Home: a dynamic place to host people who want to share experiences. Nada is an Egyptian pedagogist who has transformed her space into a home studio, Martina is a young student who takes care of her seedlings after spending time on the balcony watering them. Leo shares a room with Marco, Leo is a professor of philosophy, and Marco is a store manager who invades the space with his rich wardrobe. Helene and Costa and their two children took a break from their respective jobs in Greece to visit major European cities.

The Multi-Concept Store is the brainchild of Lia and Anna, who chose to leave their respective jobs to start this new life project. Lia is a set designer, and Anna is a lawyer, and their space speaks to their customers with creativity, informality and outstanding professionalism.

Giada and Fabio: a young creative couple who set up Hybrid Space, a place that hosts professionals and creatives, where events and workshops are organised, promoting the sharing of office space and mutual exchange in the material library.

The Open Square can be defined as a collaborative square, an open and inclusive place that transforms throughout the day to measure those who live it.

Food and Drink is somewhere between an informal lounge and a contemporary wine bar. The owner, Diego, serves as chef, barman, waiter and stand-up comedian at the same time.

Here are some features of the profiles we explored to create a good interior design project, A Casa Ovunque, that provided valuable and contemporary stimuli.
