The siloxane resins at the base of these products are in fact capable of generating a porous yet waterproof microstructure. The dual action of water repellency/water tightness enables the masonry to remain intact and dry at all times, even in aggressive weather conditions. Transpiration allows moisture in the form of water vapour to escape and prevents swelling and plaster flaking.
