CAP Arreghini's siloxane paints are an innovative solution able to offer a very high level of performance, combining optimal transpirability and resistance to atmospheric agents with high water repellency. The siloxane resins at the base of these products are in fact capable of generating a porous yet waterproof microstructure. They thus find ideal application in the painting of mineral substrates of external façades, making it possible to eliminate the penetration of water into the masonry while at the same time favouring its natural transpiration.
The dual action of water repellency/water tightness enables the masonry to remain intact and dry at all times, even in aggressive weather conditions. Transpiration allows moisture in the form of water vapour to escape and prevents swelling and plaster flaking. Unlike traditional paints, siloxane paints do not soften under the action of ultraviolet and infrared rays, and prevent dust and dirt from adhering to the substrate, facilitating their complete removal with rainfall.
