The new Lapis collection reflects this desire through the use of an innovative technology developed in collaboration with Studio METCO. In fact, the insertion of the silver ion-based additive gives the tiles unique and special characteristics, making it suitable for many contexts and all types of spaces, both indoor and outdoor, and particularly for bathrooms and wellness&pool areas.    

Appiani BIO SHIELD+ is a special material resistant to impact, frost, temperature changes and bending. This product is tested and certified according to the most stringent international standards. The innovative bactericidal solution leaves the aesthetic and technical properties of ceramic surfaces unaltered over time and protects them from bacteria, microbes and other harmful microorganisms and any species of fungi and mold. It is a bacteriostatic and bactericidal finish based on silver nanoparticles with fungicidal efficacy on the germination of fungi and molds harmful to humans permanently throughout the product life cycle. Resistant to detergents and acids, the tile is non-toxic and does not alter the aesthetic characteristics of the mosaic that reproduces the natural look and feel of stone while eliminating all its negative characteristics.

In addition to these features, Lapis offers dry-pressed glazed ceramic tiles with low water absorption (E < 0.5%), the result of careful research that facilitates maintenance and allows customers to fully enjoy the natural look and feel of stone without worrying about unwanted effects.
Available in nine colors and in sizes 1,2x1,2cm 2,5x2,5cm, mosaic tiles mounted on mesh in sheets 30x30cm, the Lapis collection reflects the charm of natural stone combined with the practicality of stoneware tiles and allows you to decorate any architectural space with elegance.
