The Research and Development department of San Marco Group S.p.A., an ISO9001 certified company, has over the years been enriched with new resources, skills, and equipment, becoming a center of excellence within the company. A group of researchers, located in three operational sites, divides their activities into various research sectors dedicated to construction systems: enamels and top coatings, decorative paints and floor coatings, façade products, coatings and thermal insulation systems, certifications, environmental and regulatory aspects. The process of creating new products follows two main paths: one focused on the development of new catalog products, and the other on the development of custom products or systems 'on demand' to meet specific needs from around the world.
