Internal combustion engine for Porsche Engineering

For Porsche Engineering we prototyped a small displacement internal combustion engine and a preliminary study for the finalization of an efficient and optimized production plan. The conceived process set this goal: a strong industrialization coupled with a careful planning for purchases, maintenance activities and possible emergency strategies. To reach the objective it was developed a guideline in order to organize the following key topics: - designing a dedicated unit equipped with a robotized line operated by few workers and able to mass-produce huge amounts of highly technical components with very limited execution tolerances - drafting a specific quality plan - planning simple and functional logistics
