Lime'On - American Bar

Lime On is the new revelation of 2012. This American Bar is the latest creative challenge of Studiounodesign where art, functionality and economic convenience blend perfectly together. The project stems from an idea of the two owners Paolo & Enzo. In order to recover as much raw material possible left over from a less recent establishment, now in a dilapidated state, the two owners made a low budget investment. Their goal is to offer customers, along with impeccable service, a place that transgresses traditional manners without losing sight of artful taste and comfort. Therefore, with the recovery of old furnishings that were subsequently recoated or repainted, storage materials and classical wooden items were created, as well as bar counters, back counters and adorned walls, including decor such as cabinets and display shelves, tables and chairs and a particular curvature in the wall that separates the relaxation area from the bar area and creates an effect like an uncertain veil. The choice of color is in different shades of white, both on the walls (using absolute white and a decorative painting of Giorgio Graesan called “White Paint”). On the furniture (with the use of white imitation leather upholstery and neutral cotton curtains), gives a touch of elegance to the rustic nature of the materials used. The only interruption in color is shown at the far wall of the room where a decorative painting of Giorgio Graesan in emerald green is displayed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lime On è il locale rivelazione del 2012, ed è la nuova sfida creativa di Studiounodesign dove estetica, funzionalità e risparmio si fondono perfettamente insieme. Il progetto nasce dall'esigenza dei due proprietari Paolo & Enzo di recuperare il più possibile dalle “macerie” del locale precedente, ormai in stato fatiscente, e di effettuare un investimento low budget cercando di offrire alla clientela, oltre all'ineccepibile servizio, uno spazio che trasgredisse ai canoni tradizionali senza perdere di vista il gusto estetico ed il comfort. Così, con il recupero di vecchi arredi, in seguito rivestiti o riverniciati, di materiali di magazzino e di vecchi manufatti in legno, sono stati realizzati, oltre ai banconi, retrobanchi e pareti attrezzate, anche complementi d'arredo come mobili e mensole espositive, tavoli e sedute e due particolari quinte curve che separano una zona relax dalla sala bar e che creano un effetto vedo/non vedo. La scelta del colore in diverse tonalità di bianco, sia sulle pareti (utilizzando il bianco assoluto ed una pittura decorativa White Paint di Giorgio Graesan) che sugli arredi (con l'utilizzo di rivestimenti in skai bianco e tendaggi in cotone neutro), dona un tocco di eleganza alla rusticità dei materiali utilizzati. L'unica interruzione cromatica è data dalla parete in fondo al locale dove è stata utilizzata una pittura decorativa verde smeraldo di Giorgio Graesan.
