Industrial buildings used for food processing and storage, such as fruit and vegetable warehouses, fish markets, butchers fresh food storage departments, supermarkets and superstores, share several common issues. One key challenge is managing the humidity, which affects the health of workers, accelerates the deterioration of the building structures, and leads to significant maintenance costs.

Roofing for industrial or commercial buildings in such conditions must also meet fire safety and noise reduction standards, which are now crucial for worker comfort. However, the solutions used to address these requirements often conflict with each other, leading to complex engineering designs and higher construction costs.
NovelloArch has introduced a solution that addresses all these challenges: Forza7. This prefabricated wooden panel, available in large dimensions (up to 16 metres long by 2.60 metres wide), is designed to endure in humid and aggressive environments without maintenance, meeting service class 3 standards (NTC2018). It also complies with fire resistance (certified as class B-s1,d0 or B-s2,d0) and soundproofing regulations. The large size of Forza7 ensures a very fast and precise installation.

The bottom layer of the panels is made from mineralised wooden fibre slats (available in various sizes and colours), which remain exposed inside the building, eliminating the need for additional finishing and saving both time and costs. The intermediate layer consists of wood joists for support, while the top layer is made of plywood.

Forza7 is patented and is the only roofing prefabricate currently available on the market that can simultaneously solve all of the above requirements.

Visit the NovelloArch page on the Syncronia website, here you can download the 3D BIM models for Forza7 and its “twin” product Forza6, which is indicated for situations less prone to humidity.

A specialised technician is available to support you in the project by quoting costs and managing every construction aspect. The textures of all the colour variants available for mineralised wooden fibre slats can also be downloaded.
