An Exhibition of Forty Years of Fashion Publishing
Milano Fashion Library, in collaboration with MARIO TESTINO STUDIO, is pleased to announce Mario Testino: A Published History, a five-day exhibition celebrating the career of one of fashion photography’s most iconic figures as seen through the printed page. The exhibition brings together an exceptional selection of magazines, brand catalogues, and monographs dedicated to Testino’s work — offering visitors a rare opportunity to trace the arc of a singular creative vision across decades of fashion publishing.
The exhibition will take place from Saturday 20 to Wednesday 24 June 2026 from 10 to 18, freely accessible in the spaces of the Milano Fashion Library, Via I Maggio, Vanzago (MI), one of the world’s largest fashion archives with over 80,000 individual publications from the 1850s to modern day and active as a research library, a bookstore, and an e-commerce platform.

About the Exhibition
During the four days of the exhibition, over eighty original published materials will be on display for consultation and will be structured around three complementary areas of Testino’s published output:
I. Magazines: Covers & Editorials. A selection of Testino’s editorial work for some of the world’s most prestigious publications, including Vogue (US, France, Japan, Italia, and further international editions), V Magazine, The Face, and Vanity Fair, among others, and featuring fashion and culture icons such as Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Marina Abramović, and Diana, Princess of Wales.
II. Catalogues: Fashion Brand Campaigns. Advertising and campaign imagery produced for leading fashion houses, including Versace/Istante, Bruno Magli, Donna Karan, Roberto Cavalli, Burberry, Gucci, Paul Smith, and Missoni.
III. Books & Monographs. A curated selection of books and publications dedicated to the work of Mario Testino, charting the evolution of his practice from his earliest editorial commissions to his most celebrated campaigns.
