Foliae srl, which produces special and highly customized wallpapers in its atelier in Lurate Caccivio, in the Como area, has always combined its international vocation with a special regard for the territory in which it operates—namely Como and its lake.
The 2026 LucePRO wall coverings catalogue presents, for the first time, a line entirely dedicated to inspirations drawn from the local area, proposing full walls interpreted through various techniques such as watercolor, lithography, oil painting, or bold graphic line work. The light of the lake brings brightness to interiors, creating relaxing atmospheres suitable for intimate and cozy personal spaces, as well as for individual workspaces (offices, studios) or shared environments (open spaces, meeting rooms) that encourage concentration and creativity.
Stylized black-and-white graphics come to life through brushstrokes of color inspired by a flower or a feather, characterizing private or public settings (hotels, B&Bs) by adding grace and movement, while also clearly evoking the specific geographic area in which one is located.

The special materials patented by Foliae srl, based on flexible cement with an exceptionally strong material effect, have in some cases made it possible to dress specific walls with images taken from period paintings set in the very same location where the covering is later applied. The result is an absolutely unique effect, allowing viewers to admire the same landscape as it appeared in the 1800s (inside the space) and as it appears today just outside.
Our proposal inspired by Lake Como can, of course, be adapted to any other location; Foliae’s creatives can design customized wall coverings using landmarks that are meaningful to those who live or work in a given environment. The result is unique walls that remain impressed in the memory and evoke the landscape or artistic wonders of our world.
