Montauk Floating Oceanfront

This exposed concrete and stone house is lifted from grade 10 feet to allow for ocean views while minimising disturbance to the natural sand dunes. The second floor pool deck and interior areas open up to each other to create a large summer living space facing the Atlantic Ocean. The large floating cantilevers and naked structural expression are achieved with a massive second floor 16” thick concrete slab. Interior finishes are led by 16” wide-plank black walnut floors and ceilings.
