For building façades, contemporary construction requires an increasingly rapid execution of work (with consequent economic benefits), the application, even at low temperatures, of paints that provide the right balance between water tightness and water vapour permeability, ensure compatibility with heterogeneous substrates and materials, physical and chemical stability, and resistance to rain and weathering. All aimed at limiting maintenance work and thus optimising costs.
The advantages of UNIKOCAP, the water-based quartz paint that serves as a primer and top coat at the same time, are evident in this respect. Basically, two products in one, with one fewer application step. Its special composition, formulated on high-tech resins, allows it to perform significantly better than normal acrylic emulsions and enables direct application, without the need for primer, on various types of substrate. Compatibility with different materials, and therefore transversal use, is made possible by the presence of nanoparticles and aggregates with lamellar structure. The exceptional adhesion quality is combined with a high degree of opacity, which is instrumental in masking plaster imperfections, making UNIKOCAP also suitable for the painting and maintenance of external insulation systems (in colours with a light reflectance value LRV >25).

The high technical performance expressed by the product is not to the detriment (as often happens in all-in-one formulas), but on the contrary supports the aesthetic performance; protection and decoration are combined for CAP Arreghini into a new, multifunctional painting concept. On the one hand, the substrate is protected, to avoid damage caused by the aggressiveness of the atmosphere, infiltrations of water and humidity stains, biological agents, frost, impacts and abrasions; on the other hand, the façade's image and emotional impact are enhanced. For this reason, colour plays a key role. UNIKOCAP in fact offers a wide range of colours, from bold to neutral shades, highly resistant to sun exposure and weathering.
