The roofing panel is a prefabricated wood structure, built with multiple material layers. The underside remains visible within the building, requiring no additional finishes, and is composed of mineralized wood fibre slats available in a wide range of colours and formats to suit the lighting needs of each indoor sports facility. For example, a basketball or volleyball court may favour dark, anti-reflective colours, while pools might benefit from hues that harmonize with the water. The mineralized wood fibre slats are installed with a 2.5 cm gap that breaks sound waves, causing them to bounce within the layered structure of the roofing panel. The upper layer of the prefabricated panel consists of OSB wood, allowing for the installation of any type of insulation package.
