Sports centre buildings encounter numerous challenges, starting from construction, which often must adhere to strict schedules tied to events that cannot be delayed, such as the Olympics, tournaments, and championships.

These new products are called Forza6 and Forza7 because they have up to 7 advantages compared to any other type of roofing, especially in troublesome environments such as roofed sports centres. 

These are sizable prefabricated wooden roofs, ranging from 2.5 meters wide to 16 meters long. Their dimensions allow for swift on-site installation with exceptional precision. Furthermore, the construction process is accelerated by the fact that the underside within the building remains visible, as it is elegantly finished with mineralised wood fibre slats. These slats are highly customisable in terms of size and colour, offering an excellent architectural solution.

NovelloArch roofs also fulfil other mandatory functions in contexts of this type. First of all, they have a high degree of fire resistance, being certified in class B-s1-d0 or B-s2-d0; secondly, they have a high degree of noise dampening, and, where necessary, they are made with a superior stratigraphy that is also resistant to humid and/or aggressive environments, typical, for example, of indoor swimming pools. Forza7 is the only prefabricated enclosure on the market that is in service class 3 (now mandatory for swimming pools, ice rinks, etc.), according to NTC2018.

Mineralised wood fibres, placed on the underside, are also resistant to shocks and ball bounces, a necessary performance in contexts such as basketball courts or water polo pools. Lastly, mineralised fibres, when used in the right colours, can also play a fundamental role in the diffusion of indoor light, preventing glare that may interact with the sporting activities taking place inside the building.

Absolutely, constructing properly, and quickly, is indeed feasible. The roofing of large sports buildings is pivotal for ensuring safety and overall comfort in the environment, benefiting both sports operators and the public.
