MATERIAL LIBRARY AND 3D TEXTURES FOR WOOD

Wood textures are created from real product images. The wood textures are processed by experienced technicians and are optimised for lightness and high graphic quality.

The texture packages for furniture wood or wood effect materials supplied contain diffuse, bump and reflection textures. The three textures, diffuse, bump and reflection, each having a different function, have the task of making the wood used in the renderings as realistic as possible. In this way you can be sure of a free download of wood textures suitable for processing photorealistic renderings, using programmes such as Photoshop or rendering engines (e.g. V-ray or Mental ray).

The 3D textures of parquet and wood panelling for furniture are created from high-quality images and seamless textures: i.e. a texture that allows the perfect application of the material over an extended surface, without the (normal) repetition of the texture itself. The diffuse texture provides the appearance of the material which, in rendering processing, will correspond verisimilarly to the real appearance of the material. 

The bump texture is responsible for providing that the joints and grains of the wood floor or wood veneer are read appropriately in rendering.

Texture reflection allows the idea of how natural or artificial light relates to the wood material, creating more or less reflections.

The material libraries for wood or wood effect are made both in .adsklib format for use in BIM software such as Revit and in .mat format for software such as 3ds Max.
For some design brands, both the 3D model of the furniture as well as all the textures and material libraries of the associated woods and coatings are available to users.
