Airliner suspension is an outdoor lighting element that combines architectural aesthetics with visual lightness. Its linear and fragmented shapes dynamically modulate light, creating a play of graphic effects that elegantly and subtly enhance ceilings and horizontal surfaces. The sculptural design, inspired by the purity of forms and the interaction with light, transforms any outdoor environment into a space characterized by continuity and personality.
Thanks to its refined presence and its ability to provide both dramatic and functional lighting, Airliner is perfectly suited for terraces, porches, entrances, and public or residential spaces, helping to define the luminous identity of the environment with a coherent and contemporary style.

Technical Specifications

Body made of primary aluminum alloy. Diffuser manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel with laser cutting. The optical system, composed of high-intensity COB LEDs, offers a color rendering index above 90. No visible screws. The product undergoes a galvanic anodizing treatment divided into distinct phases: mechanical satin finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing.
The product is then subjected to an in-line double-coat painting cycle (epoxy primer followed by polyester finish), which creates a continuous, high-thickness protective layer. Combined with the previous anodizing treatment, this coating forms an effective barrier against atmospheric agents and UV rays, ensuring corrosion-resistance performance in salt-spray tests that is far superior to market standards.

The bonding of the glass components on Platek products is preceded by a surface pretreatment using atmospheric-pressure plasma. This process activates the surface energy exactly where needed, ensuring excellent wettability and removing any release-agent residues, resulting in long-lasting adhesion. The subsequent steps include the application of silicone and the assembly of the glass onto the lighting body, carried out with an automated process to ensure perfect sealing of the fixture.
