In its wall-mounted configuration, Airliner balances precise geometric discipline with an airy, minimalist presence. Its structure—marked by clean incisions and a play of angular forms—directs the light with energy and intention, producing refined graphic patterns that subtly highlight architectural façades and surfaces. Conceived to blend naturally into outdoor environments, it acts as a luminous detail that elevates entrances, walls, and circulation areas. Its illumination traces the space with clarity and stylistic harmony, contributing to contemporary, atmospheric outdoor scenes long after sunset.

Technical Specification

The body and flange are produced from EN 44300 die-cast aluminum alloy, selected for its extremely low copper content to ensure superior durability. The diffuser holder is crafted from primary aluminum, while the diffuser itself is made of laser-cut AISI 304 stainless steel. The optical unit features high-intensity COB LEDs with a color rendering index above 90, and the fixture is designed with no screws visible on the exterior.
The metal components undergo a multi-stage galvanic anodizing cycle—including mechanical brushing, degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing—to maximize surface protection. A continuous two-layer coating process follows: an epoxy primer and a polyester topcoat combine to create a thick, unified protective film that shields the product from weather exposure and UV radiation. Before the diffuser is mounted, the surface of Platek products is treated with an atmospheric-pressure plasma process, precisely activating the ionic charge only where needed. This enhances silicone adhesion and eliminates potential release residues, ensuring a more durable seal over time. The final phases—silicone application and diffuser assembly—are automated to guarantee perfect watertightness. Rated IP65 and IK08.
