Available in three different sizes (Shield Small, Shield Medium, Shield Large), Shield is a recessed ground luminaire designed to highlight architectural details, pathways, and circulation areas, creating lighting scenes that are subtle yet expressive. Precisely controlled light becomes a tool to define space and reinforce the identity of the landscape design. Ideal for both public and residential settings, Shield enhances the environment with a quiet yet distinctive presence, seamlessly combining aesthetics and technology with coherence and restraint.

Technical Specification

Shield recessed ground luminaire is made of EN 44300 aluminum alloy with a very low copper content, featuring a painted stainless steel closing ring and anti-glare visor. The clean, minimalist design, free of visible screws, allows fastening to the housing via a snap-fit system. The product undergoes an advanced galvanic anodizing treatment, consisting of several stages—from mechanical satin finishing and surface degreasing to anodic oxidation and final sealing—ensuring optimal material protection. This is followed by an in-line double-coat painting process, with an epoxy-based primer and a polyester topcoat, creating a single high-thickness protective layer. The combination of anodizing and painting provides excellent resistance to weathering and UV radiation, delivering salt-spray corrosion resistance performance well above market standards. The IP68 protection rating, combined with the Full Dry system, prevents condensation from forming inside the luminaire. Installation requires a housing cast into concrete on a 20–30 cm gravel drainage bed. To maintain the same level of protection, an IP68 connection to the power supply is required.
