The Charles family by B&B Italia is now adorned with a carré pattern, crafted using a highly refined technique. The square pattern on the upholstery and seat cushions follows a sophisticated process: each individual square of the carré cushion is carefully cut and numbered to ensure accurate assembly. During the stitching phase, the pieces are precisely reassembled, joining each square with a textile ribbon (for fabric upholstery) or a leather trim (for leather upholstery). The assembly starts with the short sides (square-ribbon-square) and then continues on the long sides, giving the design a flawless finish.
