B&B Italia, with designer Piero Lissoni, increasingly focuses on research and sustainability in the outdoor sector. The Nooch sofa draws inspiration for its name from the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Thailand.
The main feature of this outdoor modular system is its tubular structure made from recycled aluminum. The design element considered iconic is recognizable in the intersection point of the structural elements and the particular elbow curve obtained from bending the tubes.
The Nooch Sofa allows for endless combinations thanks to its rectangular and square seating modules. All modules can be arranged as free-standing units or connected to each other through specific interlocking joints. The sofa is enhanced with flat bridge inserts that can be positioned according to individual needs. The padding, which ensures comfort, is designed with eco-friendly materials and consists of two layers of polyurethane with different densities and support.
