B&B Italia rediscovers the past with Softcage, an outdoor creation in homage to Mario Bellini's 1975 design. The new collection is inspired by Bellini's avant-garde vision in the revolutionary use of rattan in the world of furniture, combining boldness and elegance.

B&B renews and reinterprets the original concept, preserving the use of handcrafted rattan within a contemporary aesthetic. Softcage is a collection that offers comfort and style for different outdoor spaces.

The range includes a two-size sofa and an armchair, featuring a rattan frame available in different colours. The structure of the sofa features a sophisticated cage, composed of 45 mm sections and 18 mm rods that make the shapes softer and more ergonomic. The bases are positioned under the seats and the sloping, suspended backrests offer more comfort.
