Generous, inviting, and unusual in its shape, the Pochette armchair by B&B, designed by Piero Lissoni, takes its name from a small item to keep close at hand and use on special occasions.
Steel and leather give form and substance to a relaxing seat without sacrificing style. The back of the armchair is defined by a visible painted steel tube at the rear, which provides support and shapes Pochette. The leather upholstery resting on the tubular structure is crafted using a technique inspired by that used for luxury car steering wheels. This technique hides the seams and reveals a graceful and sophisticated decorative pattern.
Every detail of the leather workmanship, including that of the movable back cushions, which can be positioned as desired, is meticulously crafted. The cushioning, unlike the tubular structure, can be in leather or fabric.
Pochette can be integrated into interior design projects dedicated to living areas, bedrooms, public spaces, private spaces, or reading rooms.
