Tortello by B&B Italia presents itself as a fun sofa for the public. The monolithic design and the generous shapes that are soft and cosy, as well as the name, are of great impact.
The sofa is responsibly constructed using the latest construction technology. The Tortello collection boasts a focus on recycling, starting with the structure in second-life polyethylene to which elements in polyurethane foam and thermoplastic elastomers are added to best define geometry and comfort.
Tortello features a recycled polyethylene support structure, complemented by an elastomer mattress where the foamed top rests, resulting in a soft volume with fabric upholstery and pinched stitching.
The construction and material choices are designed to allow the elements to be assembled without the use of glues or adhesives. Tortello is thus totally disassemblable and easily recyclable.
