Cantle is the equestrian-inspired armchair from MDF Italia. The term "cantle" refers to the rear part of the saddle, usually curved, which provides the rider with a secure and comfortable seat.
The backrest of the armchair takes the shape of a circumference arc, which envelops the sitter and determines their posture. The steel frame, outlining a graphic and sophisticated silhouette, supports both the backrest and the seat, anchored to V-shaped brackets. This feature not only defines the collection but also reduces material consumption by eliminating padding on the back of the backrest. This detail, enhanced by the double-faced leather and fabric cover skillfully sewn together, evokes the elegance of high fashion.
Structure
Cantle features a structure made of metal tubing of different diameters (Ø18 legs, Ø14 backrest, Ø10 joints) and powder-coated (micro-textured) in matte grey color X054. Nylon feet.
Backrest and Seat
The backrest consists of a curved element in rigid polyurethane Baydur and polyurethane foam padding. The inner part can be finished in fabric or leather, while the outer part is available in leather in black, natural, dark grey, or taupe. The seat comprises a nylon base reinforced with fiberglass and a polyurethane foam padding, entirely covered in fabric or leather. This armchair is intended exclusively for indoor furniture.
