The Array sofa system designed by Snøhetta offers maximum flexibility and comfort to those who choose or use it. It presents a new approach to the conception and construction of sofas, aiming to reduce environmental impact without compromising on personalized living solutions and simplifying logistics. The small modules it consists of allow for the creation of various configurations that are easy to transport, disassemble, and reassemble for replacement or recycling.
The concept of comfort extends throughout the entire supply chain, surpassing just the ergonomic component. The Array collection has been developed with both micro and macro perspectives to adapt to both residential and contract contexts.
Structure
The structure is made of a recycled polypropylene base, injection molded with a hollow internal core to minimize material consumption. The seat and backrest are molded in Bio expanded polyurethane, designed to offer maximum comfort. The hidden attachment system is made of glass-reinforced nylon.
Cover
The fully removable cover enhances the softness of the sofa and envelops it entirely. The fabric cover is also available in recycled polyester. Additional covers can be purchased separately.
