The system proposed by Elmo utilizes F62 PAINT intumescent coating, applied with an optimized consumption of 0.9 kg/m². This solution has been tested according to EN 1365-2 on slabs with a thickness of 16+4 cm and 10 mm of plaster, achieving a REI 180 classification.
Integration of Systems and Electrical Boxes
A key strength of this certification (Report I.G. 347890/3892FR) is the ability to manage the presence of electrical boxes and corrugated pipes applied to the soffit. This allows for building code compliance without dismantling existing systems, ensuring continuity of passive fire protection.
