The REI upgrading of floor systems requires certified solutions that combine protective effectiveness with structural stability. Elmo has developed F62 SPRAY, a premixed gypsum-based plaster with special additives designed for the passive protection of complex slabs. With tested resistance up to REI 240, this system guarantees excellent performance on heterogeneous substrates. Its lightweight formulation avoids overloading existing slabs while providing a uniform surface finish ready for possible painting.
Prefabricated slab systems such as “Predalles” slabs require special attention due to the reduced thickness of the concrete cover and the sensitivity of reinforcement to heat. The application of F62 SPRAY (minimum thickness 9 mm) ensures REI 120 protection, preventing spalling (detachment of concrete) and maintaining the structural integrity of the slab. It is an ideal solution for garages, shopping centres, and industrial buildings, where installation speed and safety are priorities.
To facilitate the integration of fire protection systems into digital workflows, a complete library of technical resources is available for professionals on this Syncrinia page. In the download area it is possible to obtain:
⦁ BIM Objects: revit families optimized for accurate modelling of construction assemblies.
⦁ Technical Data Sheets and Certifications: performance data and test reports compliant with current regulations.
⦁ Specification Clauses: ready-to-use texts for inclusion in bills of quantities and cost estimates.
