Global Building’s non-loadbearing single-frame walls are systems designed to create fire-resistant vertical separations within a building. These solutions are used to divide spaces and help define a fire compartment, while maintaining the required fire resistance performance. For this type of system, the test standard referenced in the catalogue is EN 1364-1, while the classifications provided for non-loadbearing compartmentation walls are E, EI, EI-M and EW.

Within the Global Building range, non-loadbearing single-frame walls are available in various certified configurations with EI 60, EI 90, EI 120, EI 180 and EI 240 fire resistance. The build-ups mainly use FIREGUARD® 13 boards, made of calcium silicates and calcium sulphates, asbestos-free and classified A1 for reaction to fire. Depending on the solution, the linings are applied to a metal frame with vertical “C” studs 75x50x0.6 mm, inserted into “U” channels 75x40x0.6 mm fixed to the floor and ceiling, with configurations that may include or may not include rock wool within the cavity. The catalogue also includes updated solutions in accordance with EXAP UNI EN 15254-3:2019, with extended application reports that, depending on the configuration, allow heights up to 6 metres and in some cases up to 12 metres, while still referring the designer to the technical department for sizing.

For architects, engineers, surveyors and designers, these systems represent an effective technical solution for integrating vertical fire compartmentation into the architectural project, with certified systems and a range of performances suitable for different design requirements.

On this page you can find 3D and BIM models and BIM models for fire compartmentation dedicated to Global Building systems, useful for correctly integrating fire compartmentation into the architectural project. Here you can consult the BIM models of Global Building non-loadbearing single-frame walls for vertical fire compartmentationand include them in your architectural project. Download free BIM models of non-loadbearing single-frame walls, together with the company’s official catalogue and technical data sheets. For your project, free download of Global Building BIM models of non-loadbearing single-frame walls is also available, with files in BIM, Revit and IFC formats, DWG files for AutoCAD, and files compatible with SketchUp.
