Inspection manhole, SA3-TR / SA3-RI System - Inspection cover

What it is

SA3-RI is an inspection floor access cover for service wells and technical chambers, where the top finish requires a tread plate and maintenance-friendly opening. It is positioned as a shatterproof solution with power-assisted opening within the FF Systems floor inspection range.

Construction features

The cover is indicated in 4 mm thick tread sheet metal, with an internal locking device, hydraulic pistons, and sturdy hidden hinges. Opening is up to about 100°, with a self-tightening closure and oval brass cap.

Frame & gasket

Frames are described as stainless steel profiles with either pre-drilled fins and dowels for direct installation on concrete or zanches fixed during the concrete pour. The perimeter gasket is stated as replaceable and resistant to atmospheric agents. The range also indicates availability in oversize.
