Recessed spotlights, Micro In-ground Sts Trim

Micro In-ground StS Trim is a compact in-ground recessed solution designed to integrate discreetly and define paths, façades and details with controlled, uniform light. In an outdoor project, it supports minimal visual impact and precise lighting choices, coordinated within an outdoor lighting design project as single points or repeated elements.

The Micro collection by Platek has reduced size (95 mm diameter) and works by subtraction: on, it produces a significant beam; off, it disappears. It can be used as a single light point or in series, either on floor or ceiling, and through monochromatic or dynamic light it can highlight architectural elements such as columns and statues.

Technical features

• Extruded aluminium alloy body
• Die-cast head and trim manufactured from EN 44300 aluminium alloy with very low copper content
• A4 Stainless steel screws
• GORE® valve to prevent condensation inside the product
• Subjected to galvanic anodizing treatment and painted with a continuous two step paint process (epoxy-based primer + polyester-based colour finish)
• Protective barrier against atmospheric agents and UV rays; corrosion resistance declared higher than market standards
• Glass bonding with atmospheric pressure plasma pre-treatment, silicone spreading and automated assembly for sealing
• Nylon outer housing to be ordered separately
• IP66, IK09
