Sister Ray Parete is an outdoor lighting fixture where formal discipline and expressive strength engage in dialogue. Its articulated profile and compact structure define an architectural presence shaped by light, capable of integrating with balance and personality into the vertical development of space. The recessed, fully shielded light source ensures high visual comfort and a soft, controlled emission, ideal for enhancing façades, entrances, outdoor walkways, and pedestrian paths adjacent to buildings. The upper curvature facilitates rainwater runoff, while the absence of visible screws emphasizes the purity of the lines and the attention to design detail.

Technical  Specification

The body is made of extruded primary aluminum alloy, with optical components in EN 44300 aluminum alloy with very low copper content. The design is defined by the absence of visible screws, while the fastening elements are made of A4 stainless steel. The diffuser is screen-printed extra-clear glass.

The product undergoes a galvanic anodizing treatment consisting of several stages: mechanical satin finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing. It is then painted using an in-line double-coat process (epoxy-based primer and polyester-based topcoat), which creates a single high-thickness protective layer. This treatment, combined with the anodizing process, forms an effective barrier against atmospheric agents and UV radiation, ensuring corrosion resistance in salt spray tests well above market standards.

The bonding of the glass on Platek products is preceded by a surface pre-treatment using atmospheric-pressure plasma. This process activates surface energy only where needed, improving wettability and removing any residues of release agents, thus ensuring long-lasting adhesion. The subsequent steps include the application of silicone and the assembly of the glass onto the luminaire body, carried out through an automated process that guarantees perfect sealing of the product. Protection rating IP65, impact resistance IK06.
