Its slender and orientable structure is created to bring light exactly where it is needed, precisely tracing profiles, plants and architectural volumes within an outdoor project. With the In Curved Air outdoor lamp collection, Gordon Guillaumier signs for Platek an iconic sign: an essential arch that defines space and places light at the centre of the outdoors. Base, arched stem and light source become the start of an exploration of materials and finishes, where smooth surfaces and ripples alternate to give rhythm to the form. Designed for terraces, verandas and porches, the collection interprets light as a material presence and a design gesture.

The light is described as controlled and soft: it rests on greenery or surfaces naturally, creating luminous suggestions that enhance matter without overpowering it. For this reason, the outdoor spike lamp In Curved Air Spike suits gardens, flowerbeds and natural spaces, where outdoor lighting must guide perception and enhance details without “making a scene” invasively.
