Founded in 1987 by Amelia Pegorin in the province of Padua, Saba has embraced a humanistic approach combined with a distinctive aesthetic sensibility since its inception. These values have shaped the company’s vision and guided its design of comfortable sofas. 

Saba embodies a vision built around three core principles: freedom, poetry and memory. This philosophy stems from the belief that good design has a responsibility to improve quality of life and make people happier.

Saba products are designed and crafted to accompany people throughout their lives. The brand is distinguished by its unmistakable style, which brings together form, the poetry of colour and the tactile qualities of textiles.

Saba stands out for its openness to the cross-pollination of art, fashion and culture: seemingly distant worlds that are, in fact, deeply interconnected and capable of shaping our everyday lives.

One of its most significant collaborations is with Sardinian artist and fashion designer Antonio Marras, who reinterpreted the iconic New York chair and designed the Oltremare sofa, inspired by the headland of Capo Caccia. This ongoing journey of exploration is what we call emotional ergonomics, where imagination and functionality meet in harmony.

In 2018, Saba joined the Dexelance Group, sharing its commitment to celebrating Italian excellence and unlocking the potential of its companies in international markets.
