The Dot Floor outdoor lamp is a contemporary, minimalist floor-standing outdoor fixture, designed to illuminate terraces, gardens, and open-air spaces with elegance and discretion. Its sleek, clean structure allows the DOT Floor outdoor lamp to blend naturally into different settings, becoming a sober yet recognizable luminous presence—ideal when a project requires a readable point of light without weighing down the landscape.

The Dot collection by Platek is light that hides in order to enhance what surrounds it. Essential, almost disappearing lines, conceived to integrate into the landscape and accompany outdoor spaces with subtlety. Designed by Jan Van Lierde, Dot combines a poetic vision with LED technology and Platek’s expertise: a very small body capable of delivering effective illumination while leaving materials, greenery, and architecture in the spotlight.

The DOT Floor outdoor lamp is available in steel and in two custom finishes: Rock Grey and Summer Orange. This variety makes it easier to achieve chromatic integration in projects with different design languages—from the most understated layouts to more scenic outdoor solutions, where the finish can contribute to the character of the space. During the design phase, the DOT Floor outdoor lamp can be considered for relaxation areas, social spaces, reading corners, and resting environments, where light plays a perceptual role as well as a functional one.

In terms of lighting quality, the DOT Floor outdoor lamp is described as providing a soft and comfortable light, designed to define spaces with balance and create welcoming, sophisticated atmospheres. The diffuser, featuring a special optical surface, is engineered to achieve excellent light distribution and eliminate glare—an important feature when lighting is perceived at close range or in stationary settings.
