The Dot Spike outdoor lamp is an outdoor lighting fixture with a minimal and discreet character, designed to blend into the landscape and become a subtle luminous trace in greenery. Its slender stem and essential lines make it almost invisible during the day; as daylight fades, the Dot Spike outdoor lamp emerges with a restrained luminous presence, giving outdoor spaces a measured yet effective lighting mark.

The Dot collection by Platek stems from a simple idea: in some cases, beauty coincides with invisibility. It is a hyper-minimal lighting system, made of thin and elegant lines conceived to merge with the environment and let the outdoor setting speak for itself. Jan Van Lierde designed Dot by bringing his philosophy into a compact object, made possible by LED technology and Platek’s know-how, capable of radiating light without stealing the scene.

Designed to be inserted directly into the ground using a spike, the Dot Spike outdoor lamp offers great compositional freedom during the design phase: it can accompany pathways, borders, and flowerbeds, helping to highlight vegetation, blooms, or architectural elements with controlled lighting details. Availability in multiple heights allows the lighting composition to be adapted to the needs of the context and the overall outdoor design.

From a performance standpoint, the Dot Spike outdoor lamp is engineered to provide effective illumination with high visual comfort. The diffuser, featuring a special optical surface, is designed to achieve excellent light distribution and eliminate glare—an important feature when designing residential spaces, gardens, terraces, and natural design-oriented environments.
