Inspection manhole, ECO System - Inspection cover

What it is

The ECO System is a fillable, removable floor access cover designed to be tile-/finish-in: frame and tray allow the surface finish (stone, tiles, concrete, resin, granite, wood and hard floors) while maintaining inspection access. It is available in hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel, with 2 mm thickness indicated.

Features & installation

The frame is fixed by casting at floor level; afterwards, the tray can be filled and inserted into the frame. The cover is not fixed to the counterframe: the screws are used only to lift the cover with the lifting key supplied. Tray depths are available in 50 mm and 120 mm; as a reference, the clear opening is indicated as external frame size – 80 mm.

Performance

The system indicates load capability up to Class D400 according to EN 124, supporting projects where the inspection point must coordinate with higher load areas (depending on configuration).

⦁    Note: performance depends on correct filling, flatness, and concrete pour detailing.
