Inspection manhole, System PRO+BS – Floor Manhole Cover

The System PRO+BS – Floor Manhole Cover is made for projects where a floor access point must combine inspection needs with fire resistance EI120. It is intended for floor ducts in both indoor and outdoor environments, where fire protection is required, fitting into broader inspection systems and fire-safety strategies. 

Construction features

The PRO+ Floor Access Panel is made of hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The basin depth is 50 mm, and the installation height is 75 mm. The frame includes a special gasket to seal against frost and weather conditions, protecting against infiltration and odor leakage. 

Opening and installation

The frame is fixed by casting level with the floor; afterward, the basin can be filled and inserted into the frame. The cover is fixed using tightening screws and can be removed with the included lifting key. 

Filling, fire version, and dimensions

The basin can be filled with stone, tiles, concrete, resin, granite, wood, hard floors, or other materials. The “FIRE-RESISTANT” version is equipped with a 25 mm thick fire protection plate, made of an angular frame and insertable after installation. External Frame Size: Clear Opening + 120 mm. 

Advantages

Advantages include fixing anchors for a secure hold, vessel fastened to the frame with screws, reinforcement crossbars, and easy opening thanks to the conical design. Load capacity: up to Class B125 according to EN 124 standard.
