Inspection manhole, PRO+ MAXI BS Inspection Floor Manhole cover

The PRO+ MAXI BS Inspection Floor Manhole cover is intended for floor ducts, both for indoor and outdoor use, where fire protection is required. It combines inspection access with fire resistance EI120, using a tray-based design to integrate with floor finishes. 

Construction features

The PRO+MBS Floor Manhole Cover is made of hot-dip galvanized steel or stainless steel with a thickness of 2 mm. The tray depth is 100 mm and the installation height is 125 mm. The frame is equipped with a special gasket resistant to frost and weather, providing protection against infiltration and the release of odors. 

Opening and installation

The frame is fixed by embedding it at floor level; afterwards, the tray can be filled and inserted into the frame. The cover is secured using clamping screws and, thanks to the provided lifting key, it can be removed. The system is equipped with a lifting/locking key and an installation manual; installation must be carried out professionally, ensuring the gasket adheres tightly to the frame profile. 

Fire version, filling, and dimensions

The “FIRE PROTECTION” version is equipped with a 25 mm thick fire protection plate, housed in an angular frame and insertable after installation. The tray can be filled with stone, tiles, concrete, resin, granite, wood, hard flooring, or other materials. External Frame Size: Clear Opening + 150 mm.
