F62 Paint S is a water-based intumescent fire-resistant coating designed for use in indoor environments, areas with limited ventilation, or semi-exposed spaces. Specifically formulated for the passive fire protection of steel structures, it ensures high performance and safety.

F62 Paint S is a water-based intumescent fire-resistant coating designed for use in indoor environments, areas with limited ventilation, or semi-exposed spaces. Specifically formulated for the passive fire protection of steel structures, it ensures high performance and safety.
The technical features of F62 Paint S for steel columns and beams are as follows:
-Fire resistance: R15–90 – For section factors up to A 320 (m⁻¹)
-Substrate: steel columns or beams
-Protective coating: F62 PAINT S intumescent paint (see ETA 21/0474 tables according to section factor)
-Application: brush, roller or spray
-Coverage: 1 kg/m² equivalent to 497 μ
-Surface preparation: where not already present, apply the F62 PRIMER S anti-corrosion primer. For galvanized structures, use F62 PRIMER Z with a thickness of 45–60 μ
-Finish: use F62 FINISH S enamel— not required for fire protection— to provide weather resistance with a thickness of 60–95 μ
