Ceramic tiles,Lavica
Le Nid presents Lavica, a collection of tiles made from Etnean basalt (effusive volcanic rock) extracted by the 'waterfall' method. Before being transformed into wall tiles, all blocks are degreased and passed to the sawmills, where the sawmills will obtain the actual wall tiles in the finishes: polished, polished and majolica.
Each Le Nid product is considered unique due to its specific characteristics and small irregularities. Versatility and resistance are the key points of Le Nid claddings.
Lava stone floors and tiles come in different finishes and compositions:
- Natural
- Waxed
- Fired
- Solid-coloured ceramic
- Brushed and decorated
Lava stone ceramics can be used for fireplaces and swimming pools because of its resistance to thermal shocks and chemical agents, but also to make tiles that can be used for: tables, kitchen and bathroom tops, mosaics, floors, shower trays, wall tiles and sinks.
Le Nid makes available on this page syncronia.com technical data sheets and a catalogue of the collection, so that every architect or designer can have the information they need for planning. In addition, in the download, images section, you will find set images and details of the realisations of Le Nid's Lavica collection.
