Balina bollard is an outdoor lamp with a strong poetic presence, designed to blend gracefully and elegantly into green spaces. Balina takes inspiration from the simplicity of glass marbles, reinterpreted in a luminous key through a transparent glass sphere. The bollard version integrates seamlessly into natural landscapes: it can be installed on lawns, along pathways, or at the edges of hedges and shrubs, transforming the garden into an evocative, narrative space. By day, it appears as a discreet and elegant object; by night, it becomes a soft, atmospheric luminous presence.
Ideal for residential settings, parks, hotels, or private gardens, Balina bollard combines formal elegance, high-quality materials, and great compositional freedom, becoming a luminous element in dialogue with nature.

Technical Specifications

Body, base, and ground spike made of aluminum alloy; stem in AISI 304 stainless steel. Diffuser in high-strength blown glass. Equipped with a proprietary optical system. Supplied with high-brightness LEDs with a color rendering index above 90. The lighting body is manufactured with no visible screws, while the fastening components are made of A4 stainless steel. The product undergoes a complete galvanic anodization cycle consisting of several stages: mechanical satin finishing, surface degreasing, anodic oxidation, and final sealing. After this treatment, a dual in-line coating process is applied (epoxy-based primer followed by polyester-based topcoat), creating a uniform, thick protective layer. This finish, combined with the initial anodization, forms a highly effective barrier against weather agents and UV radiation, allowing the product to achieve corrosion-resistance performance in salt-spray environments that far exceeds market standards.

The bonding of glass elements on Platek products is preceded by an atmospheric-pressure plasma surface pretreatment. This process activates the surface energy exactly where needed, ensuring excellent wettability and removing any release-agent residue, thus promoting long-lasting adhesion. The following steps include silicone application and glass assembly onto the lighting body, performed through an automated process that guarantees perfect sealing of the fixture.IP65, IK05.

Two different diffuser finishes provide distinct lighting effects: the transparent glass allows full light transmission, while the opal version softens and diffuses the light across its curved surfaces.
