From the very beginning, in the 70s, Rapsel carried forward its creative belief with consistency and determination. The company’s policy is to operate in the area of contemporary design, identifying objects with highly innovative content and great quality of aesthetics and form. Research is the basis of all projects, and thanks to that, Rapsel won “Compasso d’Oro” in 1998 and some “Best of Categories”, among the last ones, 2003, 2005, 2009 and 2010.
Rapsel’s trend setting objects have great character and in some cases they have even been described as ‘cult objects’. These have become essential reference points in the evolution of the way of living and its models. Just to give a very obvious example, the design approaches like those of Starck and Shiro Kuramata, although very different and distant from each other, co- exist harmoniously in Rapsel’s catalogue.
