Khan House

Transformation from a standard home to an exciting renovation and addition to create a new modern expression. The pool house addition is linked to the main house via a glass hallway and explodes the site's topography in creating a lower level for the main parking and entry transition. The pool house pavilion takes reference to the early modernists of a simple box with ribbon windows versus solid volumes. The existing home is transformed from a typical shingled structure with standard windows to a slick stuccoed volume with over sizes windows.
