The brief from this well known developer was to create a cinema room and go from there – his response when finished -You did a fantastic job - Now carry on…

And so I did…

I saw the pony skin tables at Decorex and was really excited to use them, so I included them into the cinema room, which set the tone for the rest of the house and we literally moved through the property room by room, including the gorgeous conservatory adjacent to the swimming pool that  the client had built in the style of a barn, which oozed sophistication and style, presenting me with the opportunity to  team  it up with Gloster luxury furniture.  Whilst conservatories are lovely, they can be challenging regarding sunlight, so we found the perfect solution of sola controlled shutters for the roof, which not only was aesthetically pleasing but solved a potential problem.

The entrance to this property was a favourite with me as it was under utilised and impractical so we created bespoke storage and gave the space a sense of needing to rest, with the bespoke studded chairs and reindeer skins. The lamps are actually stone balustrading imported from France and fabricated into working lamps, which I loved and have never been to replicate, so these really are utterly unique!  This rule also applies to the coffee table in the TV room, where their dog tends to reside, only 4 of these were made, so I took one for this project which fitted perfectly. We have a wonderful nucleus of suppliers and there was a great need for fabrics on this project which included O&L, Designers guild, Andrew Martin, Romo, Bakers, Zoffany, Sanderson, today’s interiors  to name but a few …
