The Design Village

The Design Village (TDV) has been conceived to provide an international, interdisciplinary, industry-centric platform for design. In order to enhance the design quotient of the country, TDV has glocal partners as institutes andcentres which form a pool of faculty/students that work closely with industries & professionals. Within its umbrella of design, TDV houses different disciplines and related technology and management competencies, to come together to form a holistic eco-system of design thinking and solutions. This new venture aims at design exploration and cultural exchange opportunity for the students to get relevant exposure and experiential learning in a diverse environment.The objective of The Design Village is not only to propose finest tutelage to all, but to also offer its students a chance to attend an international semester at its partner campus in France as a part of the 2-year programs. All programs award an international Postgraduate Master level Certificates by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nantes, France in collaboration with L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantique which has successfully run its India campus since five years. With this as a background and expertise in design education, together with TDV, truly international programs suited for the discerning Indian student have been developed. With a vision of enhancing Life through Design, and a mission to create a global hub that educates, promotes and supports development through design, TDV principles are supported by exceptionally, well-trained faculty and learning processes that have been planned in to offer the best to every individual who joins the Design Village family.
