The soundproof doors proposed by Floema have a noise reduction coefficient dependent on three factors:
- Acoustic door thickness. The thickness affects the soundproofing capacity of a room because a greater thickness allows for a greater layer of special sound-absorbing and sound-insulating fibers. Acoustic doors available in thicknesses of 4 cm, 6 cm or 8 cm.
- Number of surface microperforations: the more perforations, the greater the sound reduction.
- Perforation design. Floema offers different types of microperforations design, which correspond to different soundproofing value: square, cross, hexagon or trigon.
Acoustic doors made of Phonotamburato® are soundproof doors that have microholes on one or both sides.
